We are so grateful to Harris Funeral Directors for the care and compassion they showed our family after my husband passed. I would like to thank Harris Funeral Directors specifically Jeremy Harris, for his professionalism and attention to details in coordinating my mother’s burial. Jeremy definitely made the process easy for us to handle in our most difficult time. There aren't enough positive words in the dictionary to describe how professional and accommodating Harris Funeral Director has been regarding the services of my fallen brother, Craig Dean Johnson. They picked his body up from the VA Hospital quickly; he was embalmed just one day after. The planning meeting was professional and worthwhile. Everything was planned in a 2-hour session. The wake was terrific. Craig was a member of many masonic organizations. To accommodate the final resolutions and last rite ceremonies, Harris Funeral Home provided a Large changing room. The funeral was outstanding. Lastly, the burial ceremony was grand. Craig “looked like himself.” It appeared as though he was merely resting. This was the best work I’ve seen in my entire life. I recommend Harris Funeral Directors. “If you have to take a rest, be sure you use the best.” - Dr. Jason Hiram Lester

I am 73 and never had to deal with an immediate family passing. My domestic partner of 30 years passed on October 5th, 2020. He had no close family here. And I wasn't sure how to get hold of his family. I sat here for 4 days. I had no idea of what to do, who to call, who to talk to. The hospital kept calling wanting to know what to do. They said I need to call a mortuary. I had no idea who to call. A nice lady from the hospital gave me Jeremy Harris's # , she said he is very kind n caring person. I called him having absolutely no idea what to say. I told Jeremy my situation. And he took over for me. ( THANK GOD FOR JEREMY) He took care of everything. Filed the paper work. Brought the papers to my home for me to sign. Even got me set up with Colorado Human Services since we could not afford to take financial responsibility for the final expenses. Jeremy called almost everyday to see how I was doing. And if I needed anything. He picked out a beautiful urn. Made all the arrangements for cremation of my "ole man" Got it all taken care of. He brought my Joe home. And when I needed a hug more then anything. He gave me a huge hug. Let me cry on his beautiful suit shoulder. Never have I needed a hug so much. Never have I been so lost and totally alone. Jeremy was there. He and his brothers even brought me and my son a turkey, and "fixins" for Thanksgiving. Everyday I THANK GOD FOR JEREMY. He got me through one of the hardest times of my 73 years.

"It’s hard to put into words the level of service that this funeral home provided for us. My brother passed away in the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic and we needed his body to be transported to a different country, Patrick and Val made it happen as fast as they could with a very high level of professionalism. I had to return to Oregon and the funeral home took care of all the paperwork needed for this process. We are extremely grateful and highly recommend them."

I must say , when my grandmother passed, we had no idea which way to turn and were so confused. A good friend of ours referred us to speak with Mr. Harris and from the very first phone call we were welcomed and felt comforted in such professionalism . Through out the process we were constantly reassured that things would be ok and we would get through this difficult time . It has been some time that she has passed and one reason that we wanted to be sure to review his company is that he actually reached out to us afterwards to see how we were and it just showed us that we were not just another number in a book or another name on a list but a family. We highly recommend Jeremy Harris! We lost our sweet baby Mason in the nicu 8 days after him and his brother were born. It was a devastating loss for us to say the least. We were heartbroken and made the decision to have his body cremated. We called around to SO MANY funeral homes and were quoted prices ranging from free to $100 all the way to over $1,000! (No service or anything, just direct cremation) Though money is tight for us, we wanted to feel good about who we chose and most of the people we spoke to came off as they were just doing their jobs. Everyone gave a very textbook "oh I'm so sorry for your loss" and it was all just so scripted and unfeeling, which was very unsettling to a heartbroken mother who'd just lost her child. When I called Harris funeral directors and spoke to Jeremy the vibe he gave off was genuine and caring. He didn't refer to our son as "the body" or anything like the other places did, it was always very gentle and kind, he'd say "I'll call you when baby is in my care". He kept us well informed of everything that was going on. The price was very reasonable compared to most of the others we had called and included the urn. Upon picking up our sons remains, the urn that was ordered for him (a very nice blue urn) had not arrived yet, Jeremy gave us the option of shipping it to us when it came in as we live very far away, he even gave us the option to pick any urn we wanted and he would order it and have it shipped to us, but in the end he let us take a VERY nice urn (nicer than the one we would've got) that was on display in his office so we wouldn't have to wait. Throughout the whole process he was so very accommodating and considerate and it meant the world to us. We are so thankful we chose them and we will recommend them to any one in need of funeral services. Thank you so much Jeremy Harris! We appreciate you and all you've done for us!

I was so frustrated when i entered Harris Funeral Home! But as soon as I started talking with Jeremy Harris (owner) I was immediately put at ease! Customer Service was impeccable!!! Everything i needed they provided and then some! My Son looked AMAZING!!! And every hurdle we approached was tackled! If you are in need of services THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO PERIOD!!! Fantastic. Truly great. I called around to a few funeral directors and after speaking with Mr. Harris I knew I found the right place to care for my grandfather. After learning about Mr. Harris and his background, experiencing his calm and caring demeanor, and his passion for people it was a "no brainer" to hire him to care for my loved one. There was no sales pitch or fake emotions towards us. He truly is a genuine person. Mr. Harris was prompt, professional, and passionate throughout the entire process. We had a doctor that would not return calls regarding my grandfather's death certificate. Mr. Harris went to the hospital and contacted the doctor personally and was able to retrieve the necessary paperwork. Communication was prompt and consistent. My grandfather was a huge Raiders fan and we brought his Raiders flag to the funeral. When proceeding to the burial site, Mr. Harris, with out being asked and without our knowledge grabbed the flag and stuck it out of the hearse window, letting it fly as we drove in procession. My grandmother loved it as did everyone else. This is a small example of how thoughtful and caring he is as an individual. Another example; the floral arrangements had two small Raiders logos stenciled on two leafs positioned on both sides of the casket. We loved it and appreciated his thoughtfulness. My grandfather would have loved it, too. There are many other examples of this. The service was great and he was there every step of the way. Please do not be apprehensive to use Mr. Harris. No big fancy building or elaborate decorations at his location. Just a genuine person with exceptional talent who truly cares. Again, please don't be apprehensive. Call him and see for yourself. Thank you to Harris Funeral Directors for helping me and my family honor our loved one. Mr. Harris you truly are a rare soul and I'm glad to have met you.

Yesterday I spent the day at Harris Funeral Directors and I cannot say enough good things about them. We found them through google after losing my brother suddenly. They helped with every aspect. I wasn’t sure what to expect with us deciding to have an open casket funeral, but my brother looked amazing. Somehow full of life, and beautiful coloring, just sleeping, and that’s what I was hoping for. They let us sit with him long after the service until the chapel closed. They were just all so great. I am so thankful to know about them.

The very unexpected passing of my younger brother Torin Thames was the hardest thing that I have experienced in my life so far. He was my best friend and my only sibling. You all made his home going celebration so beautiful. My parents were impressed by your professionalism as well as your human connection. You made the process easier to handle. The Lord sent my brother and I to this place. I can’t tell you how God intervened in our lives!!!! My brother and I give the highest praise and respect for these people. We were welcomed into their business as long lost family. The COMFORT and support we received is unmatched by any other other. It is with our greatest respect and gratitude to have been acquainted with these fine people! Our Dad was so respectfully taken care of and was so beautifully presented for his final rest. Our family was in awe of how perfect the Harris Directors took care of him ensuring his flight back home to Texas. Never have I been so lost and totally alone. Jeremy was there. He and his brothers even brought me and my son a turkey, and "fixins" for Thanksgiving. Everyday I THANK GOD FOR JEREMY. He got me through one of the hardest times of my 73 years.

"It’s hard to put into words the level of service that this funeral home provided for us. My brother passed away in the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic and we needed his body to be transported to a different country, Patrick and Val made it happen as fast as they could with a very high level of professionalism. I had to return to Oregon and the funeral home took care of all the paperwork needed for this process. We are extremely grateful and highly recommend them."

Our family is deeply grateful to Harris Funeral Directors for the love, care, and compassion they showed us during the loss of our beloved husband and father. Losing the head of our family is such a difficult experience, and having a team who walked us through each step with patient compassion and professionalism gave us comfort and peace of mind. The Harris staff handled every detail with dignity and thoughtfulness, and it was clear they understood the importance of honoring Ron’s life. My mother recently passed away, and as you can imagine, emotions were all over the place. My siblings and I weren’t sure where to start. We began with one plan, but at the last minute, we were redirected and had to make some immediate adjustments, which required the help of Harris. They were the kindest, friendliest, and most understanding people we could have asked for. We couldn’t have chosen a better company to help lay my mother to rest. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is never easy, but I can honestly say that from start to finish, I was very pleased. Knowing my mother was in their care brought me comfort during a difficult time.

I must say , when my grandmother passed, we had no idea which way to turn and were so confused. A good friend of ours referred us to speak with Mr. Harris and from the very first phone call we were welcomed and felt comforted in such professionalism . Through out the process we were constantly reassured that things would be ok and we would get through this difficult time . It has been some time that she has passed and one reason that we wanted to be sure to review his company is that he actually reached out to us afterwards to see how we were and it just showed us that we were not just another number in a book or another name on a list but a family. From the first contact with Harris Funeral home, I was put at ease knowing that my brother would be in good hands. My brother passed away in another state, Jeremy arranged for my brother to be picked by a mortuary in Las Vegas where he was embalmed and housed for immediate family to see him before he was flown back to Colorado. Once in Colorado, we worked with Harris on funeral arrangements, and everything was easy simple to understand. The viewing was beautiful! My brother looked amazing and at peace. The service was done well, the pastor was amazing but most of all everyone from Harris was professional, classy and worked well even when things weren’t ideal. I give this black owned business ten stars! You can’t go wrong with understanding professionals that want the best for you and your loved ones in your time of sorrow. I love you guys for your service.

I am 73 and never had to deal with an immediate family passing. My domestic partner of 30 years passed on October 5th, 2020. He had no close family here. And I wasn't sure how to get hold of his family. I sat here for 4 days. I had no idea of what to do, who to call, who to talk to. The hospital kept calling wanting to know what to do. They said I need to call a mortuary. I had no idea who to call. A nice lady from the hospital gave me Jeremy Harris's # , she said he is very kind n caring person. I called him having absolutely no idea what to say. I told Jeremy my situation. And he took over for me. ( THANK GOD FOR JEREMY) He took care of everything. Filed the paper work. Brought the papers to my home for me to sign. Even got me set up with Colorado Human Services since we could not afford to take financial responsibility for the final expenses. Jeremy called almost everyday to see how I was doing. And if I needed anything. He picked out a beautiful urn. Made all the arrangements for cremation of my "ole man" Got it all taken care of. He brought my Joe home. And when I needed a hug more then anything. He gave me a huge hug. Let me cry on his beautiful suit shoulder. Never have I needed a hug so much. Never have I been so lost and totally alone. Jeremy was there. He and his brothers even brought me and my son a turkey, and "fixins" for Thanksgiving. Everyday I THANK GOD FOR JEREMY. I would like to thank the Harris Funeral Staff for their amazing services. While the lost of a love one is never easy Jeremy made it as pleasant and comfortable as he possibly could. He and his staff went far and beyond my family expectations. Anything that we asked of them was done. My grandaughter looked so very natural. We couldn't have asked for anything else. With the service that they did should have broke the bank but he worked with my family. His staff was very caring and so attentive to our every need. I would recommend that anyone that find their self in this situation of laying their love one to rest to call on them. You wnt be disappointed. In such a difficult time, not knowing where to begin in making funeral arrangements. Harris staff made it so easy and smooth with assisting us with the process. They were very prompt, considerate and kind. Jeremy did amazing with presenting my mom with the natural way she looked while alive. She looked like herself!! That was the most pleasing part. You get a wonderful service as YOU want it and very affordable. Definitely recommendable, your loved one would be left in amazing caring hands.
