Obituary

Vivian Gordon Bradley, a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the remarkable age of 91 in Aurora, Colorado. Born on August 27, 1933, in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Ben and Estelle Bradley, both of whom preceded her in death, as well as her brother, Javan (Roxy) Bradley and her son, Charles Kavin Bradley.

Vivian was a legendary caterer in Ashland for 21 years before working at King's
Daughter Hospital for 13 years. She was a devoted member of Shorter A.M.E. Church in Denver, Colorado, after she moved to Denver in 1998. While she resided at Allen Gardens Senior Housing Community, she enjoyed gardening and growing tomatoes and walking around the surrounding neighborhood. She made remarkable quilts and cross-stich designs that will be cherished for many years.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Lorethia (Dean) Brown, nieces Trinny (David) Pleasant and Aeyonne Bradley and nephews Deano (Monica) Brown, Mark (Erin) Brown and Kyerian (Danica) Bradley, along with ten great nieces and nephews and three great-grand nieces and nephews. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of extended family and friends in Denver, Kentucky, Ohio, and beyond, all of whom will treasure her memory.
