Well, folks, it seems I've finally gone on an adventure too far. This is Vincent Lavirille Ayers, or as many of you know me, "Loon". Born in Denver back in '89 when hair bands were still cool, and apparently I checked out on November 1, 2024. But hey, who's counting? To quote Mark Twain, "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." But alas, here we are.

I've lived a life most would call adventurous, some even courageous. I've spent countless days under the hood of a car or atop an oil rig, grease on my hands and a grin on my face. My charisma was legendary, or at least that's what I liked to tell myself. I'd dance and sing without needing any particular reason, and I was always up for a good time. I loved the thrill of exploration, whether it was exploring a new city or a new dish in the kitchen. My generosity was infamous. If there was a person in need or a cause worth fighting for, you could bet your last dollar I'd be there.

I've left behind a gaggle of loved ones who I'm certain are already planning the most hilarious ways to commemorate my life. There's my wonderful mother, Arlene Ayers, my partner in crime and sister, Misha Herbert, and my two beautiful daughters, Sekrett and Khaleesi. My old man, William Herbert, beat me to the punch, and I'm certain he's now laughing his socks off on the other side. To echo another quote, this time from Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." So, to all of you reading this, remember me with laughter and joy, not sorrow.
