November 20, 1933 – July 29, 2025
Aurora, Colorado
Verley Gene Sangster, 91, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. He was a devoted husband to Pearlean (Barton) and a loving father to Charles, Jermette (Dee Dee), Andre, Michael, Darryl, Vanessa, Anthony, Vera, Scott, Vermella (Moody), and Dimitri (Meech). He was blessed with 39 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
Verley was known for his unwavering faith, deep love for family, and generous spirit. His laughter could light up a room, and his wisdom was cherished by all who knew him. A dedicated member of his church and community, he spent countless hours mentoring youth, uplifting others, and serving causes close to his heart.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, Aurora, Colorado, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a repast. In accordance with his wishes, a private interment will take place at Saint Simeon Catholic Cemetery.
