Glynn Peterson December 3, 1940 – April 10, 2023

Glynn A Peterson, son of Carl and Violet Peterson, was born in Ashland, Wisconsin in 1940 and passed away unexpectedly in his home in Aurora, Colorado. He grew up in Vancouver, Washington with his siblings after his father was one of the many recruited at the Alcoa aluminum plant, and the family relocated to the newly built homes in Fruit Valley.
Glynn graduated Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver and entered into the Air Force soon thereafter where he made his career for 23 years until he was able to retire and make his home in Colorado. Following that he worked as a school bus driver for many years as well as an airport shuttle driver after that.
Glynn enjoyed photography and filming home movies with his family; he owned and collected many automobiles throughout the years for his own pleasure, but Disco dancing was his passion with Saturday Night Fever like no other. To hear him tell it, the joint lit up when "disco Pete" entered the room! His creative side was creating bumper stickers to share his perspective with others…" support your local planet" and most importantly, "try love."
Glynn leaves behind a son, Christopher; and daughters Heather and Lynda, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by brothers Wayne and Jon of Vancouver and a sister Sharon, also of Vancouver., along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gary and Mitchell, sisters Carol, Jan and Margaret Billie.
By the Grace of God, Disco Pete has surely lit up the heavens with his magical ball of light. We miss you and we'll "see you on the flip side."
