With a charismatic smile that would light up a room, Steven Cornell McClain, affectionately known as Stevo and Steven Armijo, was a beacon of laughter, intelligence, and kindness. Born on January 17, 1990, in Denver, Colorado, Steven was a resident of the city he loved so dearly until his departure from this earthly realm on March 31, 2024. His humor and charm resonated with everyone he met, making him a truly unforgettable character in the symphony of life.
Steven was a funny and smart individual, with a thoughtful nature that shone brightly in his interactions with others. Despite the challenges he faced, he never let his challenges define him. Steven was a proud graduate of JFK high school, a testament to his determination and persistence. His hobbies, which included watching football and listening to music, brought him immense joy. His passion for these pastimes was infectious, and he could often be found at the center of lively discussions about the latest game or newest album.
Steven was never married, but his love and affection extended to his large, cherished family. He is survived by his loving family members. His sisters, Frankie Cortez-Armijo and Anna Dashelle McClain; his niece, Violet-Rose Marie Patton his grandmother, Ernestine Armijo; uncles, Michael Armijo, Victor Gimer, Richard Hines and Michale McClain; his cousins, Yvonne Gimer, Victor Gimer Jr, Ynesse Salas, Monique Salas, Francis Lambouths, Adrina Lambouths, Rhonda Richmond, Robbie Richmond, Maria Graham, AD Davis, Ricky Davis Joe Davis Richard O'Leary, Jermey O'Leary, and Joseph Withworth; his aunt Frankie Cooper and uncle-in-law Randy O'Leary. Steven was preceded in death by his loving mother, Rose Marie Armijo, his grandmother, Ethel C McClain, his aunt Annie O'Leary, his uncle, his uncle-in-law Herbert L Cooper, and his cousin Ronnie Davis.
