Stacey Andre Moore, affectionately known as "Stinker" to his family, was born on March 30, 1987, in Denver, Colorado. Quoting one of his favorite artists, Tupac Shakur, "no matter how hard it get, stick your chest out, keep ya head up.... and handle it," Stacey embodied this spirit through his resilient, adventurous, compassionate, loving, and smart nature. He embarked on his final adventure on May 18, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and fond memories.
Stacey graduated from Overland High School and developed a passion for mechanics which led him to graduate from Emily Griffith's Automotive Services Program. Throughout his 15-year career, he worked as a manager at Jimmy John's and a mechanic with Big O Tires. In his free time, Stacey enjoyed gaming with his boys, working on cars, and fishing. At one time, he built a junking business. Yes, a modern day Fred Sanford with a similar looking truck and the hustle to make it produce ends that sustained his family! Stacey never failed to work hard and do whatever it took to take care of his family.
A die-hard Denver Broncos fan, Stacey was the Commissioner of his family's Fantasy Football league, where he playfully trash-talked with his opponents under the moniker "Gap Sauce." His achievements and dedication to his work and hobbies were a testament to his intelligence and determination.
A famous saying is, "Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind." Stacey's kindness and love touched the lives of many and his love for life will live on in his surviving family members: his children Andre, Emmanuel, Andrew and Micah Moore and Ezariah and Tachia Coleman; mother Jill (Ronald McClelland) Darby; father Stacey Moore; step-father Marcus Hall; grandparents Mary Darby, Andrew and Brenda Moore and Margaret Hall; brothers Adrian Hall, Gregory McClelland; sister Monique Moore and sister/cousin Kayla Coburn; aunt Carla (Brent) Coburn; uncle George McAdams and a host of nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Darby.
