Sherita Simone Holiway daughter of Paul and Idella Holiway, was born on August 14, 1989 in Denver Colorado at the University Hospital of Denver. She bore 4 girls, Shemaiah Holiway age 17, Maliyah Holiway age 13, Nynay Holiway age 9, and Azaryah Holiway age 6. While in school she was an outstanding student. She played basketball, and in high school at the age of 17, she gave birth to a daughter who was 3 months premature. This caused her to have to balance school, work, and monitoring her baby's health. She completed her high school courses in January of 2007 and walked with her class in May of 2007 at Rangeview High School. She had a passion for fashion and was always helping people in need. She helped the mission Heritage Christian Center in Mexico and volunteered some of her time at Goodwill. She worked in the restaurant industry as a manager and also was in charge of opening brand new restaurants calling herself a B.O.S.S. She got the opportunity to travel to Kansas City, Detroit, Mexico, and Vegas. She was a caring mother, she was thoughtful, generous, and had a loving heart. One of her greatest accomplishments was the completion of her book "Kandi Land: Inspired by the Life of Sherita Holiway". In the book she addresses the struggles and obstacles she faced in her life. Sherita entered into her heavenly home Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Sherita was preceded in her death by her grandparents Eddie and Ernestine Price of Detroit Michigan and Major Holiway of Kansas City, Missouri. Uncles Eddie Price Jr., George Price, James Price, Eugene Price, Den Nolan Price, Robert Price of Detroit Michigan, Michael Holiway and David Holiway of Kansas City Missouri, Alonzo Butts of Aurora Colorado, Byron Louis of Thornton Colorado, and Aunt Ester Price of Detroit Michigan. Sherita leaves behind a legacy of love with her parents Paul and Idella Holiway of Aurora Colorado, grandparent Supreen Patricia Holiway of Kansas City, Missouri, her children Shemaiah Holiway, Maliyah Holiway, Nynah Holiway, and Azaryah Holiway of Aurora, Colorado, siblings Elliot Price of Castle Rock Colorado, Alicia Holiway of Aurora Colorado, Briana Holiway and Tiffany Washington of Kansas City, and Kenneth Simmons of Kansas City Missouri. Uncles Willie Price and Lee Price of Detroit Michigan, Joseph Price and Sterling Price of Ironton Ohio, Aunts Ernestine Price of Detroit Michigan, Patricia Price of Ironton Ohio, Dollie Butts of Centennial Colorado, Patricia Davis of Aurora, Colorado, Denise Holiway and Karen Louis of Kansas City, Missouri . God mothers Stephanie Owens of Denver, Colorado, Carmen Held of Aurora, Colorado, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sherita had a smile that would light up the world and will be truly misses by all who encountered it.
