William "Bill" Mack Reeves finished his final race on November 6, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Denver on September 30, 1945 to Eldon and Maxine Reeves. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Reeves; children Tammy (Mike) Brand, William "Billy" M. (Tricia) Reeves Jr., Natalie (Brian) Hosman, Susanne (Perry) Valdez, Barbara (John) Luna, Kimberley (Chuck) McNair, April (Roy) Johnson Kingsbury; 21 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings Gloria (Len) Reeves Scumacher and Donald (Darlene) Reeves. Bill proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and was a highly decorated Vietnam War Combat Veteran. He loved bowling, hunting, fishing, working on race cars late into the night to prepare for the next race at Bandimere Speedway, eventually winning the National championship, watching his Denver Broncos, spending time with his family, and later in his retirement years, being a "Snowbird" fleeing to warm Arizona during the cold Colorado winter months. His family described him as caring, a talker, a debater, and at times, stubborn. He'd never met a stranger, only a friend he hadn't met before. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
