Harold L. Brown Jr. was born in Denver, Colorado to Harold and Thelma Brown on August 10, 1957. Harold was the oldest of 3 children, Pamela D. Hunter (Phillip) and Michael A. Brown. Harold attended elementary and middle school in Denver, Colorado.
He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and after graduating he joined the Armed Forces (Army). In 1976 he married his first wife Troy Ann Brown and to this union two children were born TiashiaR. Brown Camp (Julius) and Harold L. (Boom) Brown III(Sareya). Harold served in the Army until 1985 when he decided to retire and return and work for the family business, American Marketing Associates.
In December of 2012 Harold married Vikki Anderson Brown in Wichita Kansas, and to
this union he gained 3 bonus children, Ivris K. Owens, Britany Anderson, and Michael E. Boston. Harold affectionately known as Jr. was very loving, kind and extremely funny. He loved his family and he loved to cook. He was a very good cook, and everyone looked forward to him cooking breakfast, especially his pancakes, his ribs and homemade barbeque sauce. He loved to sing, and one of his favorite bands was Earth, Wind & Fire. One of his favorite songs was Reasons which he loved to sing, but it didn't sound very good when he did it.
He loved to take road trips, but as he got older riding with him was scary, he would look everywhere but straight, often riding in two lanes at the same time. He loved his children Tiashia and Boom with all his heart. Tiashia was a daddy's girl who could do no wrong in her father's eyes, and Boom would spend time working on cars with his dad or just hanging out joyriding around the city. If any of their friends came around, dad welcomed them into the family, and many referred to him as pop brown. To know him was to love him. Harold loved the lord and was always willing to pray for anyone and for any situation. When he attended church, he was member of Living Hope Baptist church. He touched many lives and will truly be missed.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Thelma Brown, his sister
Pamela D. Hunter, his grandson Harold L. (BJ) Brown IV, and many other aunties and uncles.
