It is with fond memories and deep love that we remember our charismatic and spirited sister, mother and friend, Rose Hope, who was born on March 14, 1961, in Denver, CO, to her devoted parents, Ernest and Ethel Pitts. She transitioned from this life and gained her wings on July 9, 2025. As a friend, I feel privileged to have shared in Rose's vibrant and generous life. She was a beacon of light whose essence was defined by her empathetic nature and radiant spirit.
Be comforted as God's word encourages us in Philippians 1:21 For me to live and to die is gain.
Rose was a person who savored the simple pleasures of life. She loved eating out, spending quality time with her cherished grandchildren, and her regular visits to botanical gardens were a testament to her appreciation for nature's beauty. Her infectious laughter and warm spirit were a source of joy to everyone she met. As Robert Brault once said, "Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." This was a philosophy Rose embodied every day of her life.
Family was paramount to Rose; it was the very fabric of her being. Rose was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Andy Hope, whom she married on December 30, 2000, and her parents, Ernest and Ethel Pitts. She is survived by her loving children, Siobhan Dobson, Dakota Hope and Mia Hope and 4 grandchildren: Axel, Aaliyah, Calum and Monaco. To quote George Eliot, "Family is the key to eternity; it enables us to savor the past, live the present, and dream the future." This was the truth that Rose lived by, and we will carry her legacy forward, cherishing every moment spent with her.
