Obituary

A Life Well Lived…
Pastor Priscilla fondly known as "Pastor P" and "Mama P" was born on June 9, 1940, in Bonner Springs, Kansas. She peacefully made her transition to glory on February 26, 2025. She was the oldest of five children; her parents were R.J. Shaffer, Sr. and Nellie Perry Shaffer. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Freeman and Alma Terrell and a brother, R.J. Shaffer, Jr. Pastor Priscilla was wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, retired registered nurse, retired clinical instructor, prophet, pastor, teacher, counselor, and a confidant and friend to many.

Family…
As a young adult, Pastor Priscilla lived and raised her first four children in Kansas City, where she worked as a nurse at the VA. In 1968, she moved her family to Denver, Colorado (this is where her best friend from nursing school lived), in order to make a better life for her family. In Denver, she continued working as a registered nurse at the VA for many years. Education and keeping a close-knit family was always important to Pastor Priscilla. She encouraged her children to continue their learning, and to this day all five of her children remain very close.

Ministry…
It was after her move to Denver that she gave her life to the Lord, and in 1974 she began working in the ministry. In addition to her master's degree in nursing, she was also ordained and held a master's degree in Counseling and doctorate degrees in Ministry and Philosophy. She traveled, taught and preached nationwide and in Africa. She kept extremely busy with counseling (ministering healing and deliverance, and teaching others how to fulfill the call of God on their lives). She was the founder and president of Anointed Word of Deliverance Ministry and started Company of Prophets Academy, where she taught and mentored young prophets and prophetic people.

She faithfully served in prison ministry for many years and was even known to carry a few tunes as she sang with The Voices of Christ (of course that's where her children got their singing voices from – like mother, like children). She was an integral part of several local churches and ministries like Women's Aglow Ministry, Women of the Word and Marilyn Hickey Ministries. During her tenure with Marilyn Hickey, Pastor Priscilla developed and was director of the Lifeline counseling ministry. When she wasn't counseling, teaching and ministering to the needs of others, Pastor Priscilla enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, studying God's Word, crocheting, crossword puzzles, lunch with friends, and last but certainly not least, traveling cross-country with her husband in an 18-wheeler (Diesel Mama was her handle).

Pastor Priscilla is survived by her husband Lonnie Williams. She leaves a sister, Pastor Bernetta McKindra; three daughters: LaTanya Hutchins, Lorene Wilkins, Michelle Lindsey Blanford (husband Daniel); two sons: Dwayne Hutchins (wife Trina), LaForest Wilkins, Jr,; Lonnie's children: Debra Williams, Chauncey Williams, Michelle Hill; six grandchildren: Lyndsei Wilkins, Ryan Wilkins (wife Janna), Pedro Hutchins (wife Deah), Desiree Hutchins, Erica Hutchins (husband Timothy), Deshina Wilkins; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and adopted spiritual children all across the United States and Africa.
