Myong Hui Trahan passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the UC Health Anschutz Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. She was born on May 25, 1954 in Seoul, South Korea to mother Dong Hee Lee and father Sam Deuk Jeon. She was 68 years old when she passed. Myong is survived by her husband, Tony, her daughter, Lillian, and their two kitties, Juniper and Daisy. Myong was predeceased by her father and her first born son, Giyong.

Myong Hui and Anthony Trahan married in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and since moved to various places including Germany and finally Colorado where she lived the majority of her life. Myong was a devoted member of the SGI-USA and she found comfort and peace in sharing Nichiren Buddhism and creating lifelong friendships within the community. Myong was a beautiful person inside and out and cared so deeply for the people around her. We know that she is free from pain now and we will be burying her ashes in Korea, which was her final request. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched. We will love you and miss you greatly until we can meet again.
