Diane Hall Nealy, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion.
Diane was a devoted mother to Heather Hall and Candance Nealy, and a loving sister to Tylah Howard. She was a proud and nurturing grandmother to Cheyenne, Jayzlyn, Tyriek II, Ahna'Lea, and AeriAna, each of whom she cherished deeply.
Her unwavering faith in Christ was the foundation of her life. Diane shared the Word of God with everyone she met and instilled her spiritual values in her children and grandchildren. Her favorite scripture was John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".
Diane worked for over 20 years at General Electric, followed by more than 5 years at Bonfils Blood Center. Alongside her professional achievements, one of her greatest callings was serving as a foster mother to several children, offering them a loving and nurturing home for many years.
In retirement, Diane found immense joy in being present for her grandchildren. She faithfully drove them to and from school, ensuring they never missed breakfast or their favorite after-school snacks. Every morning, she made her rounds of phone calls to family—offering a cheerful wake-up, a kind word, and often, a song. Her musical messages became a cherished daily ritual.
To know Diane was to love her. Her soft-spoken words, harmonious voice, and steadfast faith left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Diane is survived by her loving children: Heather Hall (Ty Lyons Sr.) and Candance Nealy; grandchildren Cheyenne, Jayzlyn, Tyriek II, Ahna'Lea, and Aeri'Ana; her sister Tylah Howard (Dan Howard); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Effie Q. Hall; father, Vastine Hall; and brother, Joseph Michael Hall.
Diane will be remembered most for her boundless love, her spiritual strength, and her deep devotion to family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
