Obituary

Survived by Daughter Rebecca Barebo, Sons Donald Brittain, George Brittain and William Graves Jr and Daughter in law Crystal Addison, Sister Linda Jo Dalton, 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Clara Jones, Sister Billie Jo McIntosh, Son Ronald "Ricky" Brittain, Daughters Mary Samain and Norma Armistead, Granddaughter Jeannie Hopkins, Her husbands, Willie
Halstead and William Graves Sr.

Judi was the middle child of James and Clara Jones. She was born on July 31, 1943, at the Fitzsimmons Army hospital in Aurora Colorado. She was married four times and had eight children, four boys George, Donald, Ricky, and Billy and four girls Norma, Mary, Tara, and Rebecca. She was very blessed to have twenty-three grandchitdren and fifteen great grandchitdren. She worked as a server for most of her life and would say that the favorite job was waitressing at China City in Lakewood Colorado. She also worked as a customer service agent at Convergys where she made a lot of friends.

Judi loved to go places whether it be a vacation with the family to Nebraska, Del Norte or New Mexico or one of her many quick drives with her best friend Virgina Bird to get coffee in Limon, buy lottery tickets in Nebraska or some other "quick" drive. She enjoyed serving as Sgt.Maj. mother for the ROTC unit at Adams city high school while her daughters were cadets. She was loved by most of the cadets in the unit and would still think of them often. She would accompany the unit on competition trips and proudly watch her kids compete or accompany them on the summer camp excursion to a military base.

Some of her biggest accomplishments in life other than her kids were at the age of fifty-five after a severe car accident that left her unable to be a waitress any longer, she returned to school to take computer classes to be able to rejoin the work force. She also was a member of the mother's board at her church where she felt very accepted and loved.

She was always willing to help anyone in need with whatever she could and loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially Tracie, Levi, Skylar and TyraJean to whom she has always felt an incredibly special bond.
