Michelle Lynette Campbell was born on June 24, 1968 in Dallas, TX to Paige and Bernice Campbell (both deceased). She was the youngest of three siblings. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Anthony Catholic Church (Dallas, TX), where she was a member in her early years. She attended St. Peter's Catholic School through Eigth grade. There she formed friendships that have lasted through today. Michelle attended Bishop Dunne Catholic High School in Dallas (Class of 1986). Her small statue and dynamite spirit earned her a place on the Cheerleading squad of the Falcons and into the Hearts of many. During her Sophomore year of high school, Michelle volunteered as a "Candy Striper" at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, TX. It's there her love for Nursing began.
Michelle attended El Centro Jr College in Dallas, TX, then transferred to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where she received her BS in Nursing and pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Spr 1995). Michelle also earned several certifications in other areas of Nursing, which allowed her to work bedside (hospitals) and through agencies. She was a Nurse Infusiologist and served many patients in-home. Michelle also completed her Masters Degree in Nurse Education; graduating Summa Cum Laude (Kaplan).
Michelle took her talents to the Denver area in 2007 where she worked and resided the past 16 years. Such a bold move to make alone, but she was determined to live the life she wanted for herself.
Michelle (aka PeeWee) never met a stranger, loved to travel, loved to DANCE, and enjoyed playing card games and dominoes. She had a beautiful, infectious smile. She made her presence known when she entered a room. The LIFE of every party.
Michelle is survived by her siblings Vincent (Tracy) and Mary; two nephews (Vincent Jr. and Michael II); one niece (Victoria); three great nieces (Maya, Danita, Zoey); three great nephews (Sema'J, Vincent III, and Zac); a host of extended family members (aunts, an uncle, and cousins galore). We will all miss PeeWee.
Gone but Never Forgotten.
Psalm 23 (KJV)
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters
he restoreth my soul; he leadeth e in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
