Michele Wright, a beacon of love and creativity was born on November 1, 1969, in Milwaukee, WI. Michele was a woman of exceptional compassion, whose light illuminated the lives of everyone she encountered. She was an inspiring soul, never failing to uplift those around her.
Michele had a passion for writing, building drawing and much more. There was nothing she could not turn into a masterpiece. Her creativity was visible in every aspect of her life, from the way she decorated her home to the unique and memorable experiences she created for her children. Michele was the first person to come to mind when you needed a touch of her creativity and she didn't mind sharing it with those she loved, gifting them handmade jewelry, candles, dolls and scarves. From those gifts we all share a piece of her.
In addition to Michele's mind-blowing creativity, she loved being a mother to her three children including Joshua, Kiara and Kimberly who remember her as a pillar of strength and a fountain of unconditional love. She gifted them with her ambition, nurturing spirit and strength. Her loving spirit is deeply imprinted on their hearts.
Michele was a very happy baby and as a child, she enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together with her older brother and best friend, Eric, they were so close that many of us called them twins. Together they would help each other reach milestones and ensured their loving bond was shared with their children; Sasha, Elijah, Joshua, Kiara and Kimberly who all love each other as brothers and sisters.
Michele was adored by her uncle Kenny who inspired her creativity to begin with, teaching her how to build and praising all her exceptional ideas. In addition to being a mother sister and niece, Michele was a daughter to Elaine Wright AKA Nana. When Michele became a mother, she was thankful for Nana being there every step of the way, making being a mom a little easier by providing captivating love, support and creating lasting memories that her grandchildren would cherish forever.
Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Michele's love and compassion were her gifts to the world, and those who were fortunate enough to have known her will forever remember how she made them feel - loved, cherished, and inspired.
Michele is survived by her mother Elaine, her uncle Kenny, her brother Eric, her children, Joshua, Kiara and Kimberly, her niece Sasha, nephew Elijah, and her grandchildren, Joshua and Jovani. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother Elbie Wright and grandfather John Wright.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 12:00 pm MST at Harris Funeral Directors, located at 9722 East 16th Avenue, Aurora, Colorado, 80010. A repass will follow at the same location at 1:30 pm MST. Please feel free to bring a dish.
