Michel Angelina McAnulty, better known as Momma, Grandma Mickey or Meemaw, and Aunt Michel, was a light in the lives of many. Born on July 10, 1967, in Denver, CO, Michel was an inspiring figure who lived her life with resilience and loyalty. She was the embodiment of a supportive, loving family member and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a hearty laugh. Her love for her family was deep and unwavering; she was immensely proud of her four children - Andrew, Anthony, Alfonso, and Christy, and cherished her eight grandchildren - Corina, David, Vanessa, Alfie, Savanna, Oscar, Jack, and Jacob.

Michel's zest for life was infectious. Her hobbies, including grilling, karaoke, church, bowling, cooking, camping, and fishing, reflected her vibrant and adventurous spirit. She was a faithful Christian who found comfort and guidance in her relationship with Jesus Christ. As the Bible says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13), Michel truly lived by these words, showcasing her strength and resilience in all aspects of her life. Her dedication and commitment were also evident in her 17-year-long career as a delivery driver at Walmart. Not one to shy away from a lively karaoke session, Michel would sing her heart out, spreading joy and happiness in the room. Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and resilience.

Michel is survived by her father, Bill McAnulty; her mother, Imelda Gutierrez; her children, Christy Zacniewski, Andrew Tafoya, Alfonso Tafoya, and Anthony Tafoya. Her legacy and love will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched. We invite you to join us for a celebration of Michel's life at Calvary Church with Ed Taylor, located at 18900 East Hampden Avenue, Aurora, Colorado, 80013 on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00am MDT. This will be preceded by a public viewing at the same venue at 10:00am MDT. Interment will follow at Seven Stones - Chatfield, located at 9635 North Rampart Range Road, Littleton, Colorado, 80125 at 2:00pm MDT.
