Michael Edward McAllister

Michael Edward McAllister, known affectionately to many as Ed McAllister, passed away on August 30, 2026. Born February 9, 1957, he lived a life marked by adventure, resilience, thoughtfulness, and unwavering support for those he held dear.

Ed was a lifelong lover of travel and camping with his adventurous spirit taking him across the United States and the globe. Some of Ed’s favorite memories were when he lived in Europe while working for City Bank. Ed also loved helping others through his handyman business for the last 20 years of his career. His supportive nature extended beyond his family, touching countless lives in the Denver, Colorado community where he resided.

Ed was preceded in death by his loving husband, Ben Ecker, and his parents, Carl and Rose McAllister. He is survived by his sister, Donna McNutt and her husband Paul, nephew Kevin McNutt and niece Laura McNutt; and his brother, Mark McAllister, nephew Stephen McAllister and his wife Michelle and children Quincy and Rhett.
