Maurice was a hardworking individual who always took pride in his work. His resilience and determination were evident in everything he undertook. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." Maurice embodied this quote, as he made a significant difference in the lives of those around him.
