Marvilean Reece (née Pugh) was born on March 31, 1943, to the parents of John D. and Margaret O. Pugh in Coffeeville, Alabama and she was the third of seven siblings. She was married to Louis B. Reece in Denver, Colorado and they shared a life together for 22 years until his death in 1995. She worked for the City and County of Denver for 30 years and retired in 1998. She is preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, her daughter, Gayle - "Fredem" and three siblings, Earlean, Rosalean and Dorthola. Those left to cherish her memories are her sons; Darren (Doris) and Rodney (Tamara), three siblings; Belle, Rosa, and John, four granddaughters; Xaviera (Karon), Xenia, Xanthia, Xtisha, four grandsons; Isaiah, Rodney Jr., Julian, Desmond, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
