Mariah Brittany Davis
September 20, 1998 ~ December 20, 2021

Our beautiful girl Mariah Brittany Davis went to Heaven on December 20, 2021 at the age of 23. Beloved daughter to Shawn Davis and Sacha Garcia, she was born on September 20, 1998 in Wheat Ridge Colorado. She was welcomed by older brothers Jalen & Chance, and later joined by brother Preston and sister Lindsie.
Mariah graduated from Grandview High School in Aurora Colorado in 2017, where she earned a partial scholarship for Track & Field. During her senior year in high school she ran the 4x100 and made her way to the Colorado State Track Meet at Jeffo Stadium in Lakewood, Colorado. Her team took first place over all for 5A schools. She started her track career in the 7th grade and competed for 6 years, plus one more year in college. She also enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball throughout her middle school and most of her high school years. With her scholarship she chose to go to Hastings College in Hastings Nebraska. She studied there for 2 years and then transferred to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was only there for one year before deciding that college wasn't for her wanderlust heart.
Mariah was very independent and proud to show the world she could survive on her own. She was able to get her first car loan in the summer of 2021, she was so very thrilled and happy she accomplished that milestone!
She had multiple jobs during her short-lived adulthood life. In between switching jobs and moving from place to place she found time to travel often! She traveled to many states in the US and made her way to Mexico on a cruise with her family. She loved traveling and going on adventures, whether it was a short day trip, a quick weekend vacation, or week long road trips, she love them all! She went on many summer camping trips with her family when she was younger and always love being outdoors. Mariah felt very strongly about keeping the great outdoors clean and would always remind her friends and anyone who will listen to pick up their trash and leave no trace behind.
Mariah was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend that was always smiling and so full of love, laughter and light. Her friends often spoke of her contagious laugh that everyone loved. Mariah "lived her best life" through simple pleasures like listening to music, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, shopping at the mall, being with her pets, painting at home, snacking, going out to eat, or eating her favorite homemade meals when she would come home for a visits. Her favorite meal from her "mommy" was her shepherds pie, and her favorite from her "daddy" was his Texas BBQ.
Mariah is survived by her parents Shawn and Sacha, and lovingly remembered by her 2 older brothers Jalen Corona an Chance Davis; younger brother Preston Davis; little sister Lindsie Garcia; her maternal grandparents Linda Watson & Elefar Garcia; Paternal grandparents John Preston (Anita) O'Neal; many aunts and uncles; great aunts and uncle's; numerous cousins and countless friends; her family dog Rocky; her cat Nala, and newest addition (unnamed) kitten, now happily adopted by older brother Chance!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 18th at 1pm at Front Range Christian Church, 310 Wilcox St. Castle Rock, Colorado 80104
