Obituary

In the words of her loving daughter, Heidi, "Linda Carol Williams, known to many as Honey, Sweetheart, Mom, Momma, or Nana, was the strongest woman I have ever known. She was born on January 17, 1953, in Denver, Colorado to Kenneth Amann and Ollie Riley. Linda's life was a testament to the depth of her love, her courage, and her unyielding resilience.

Linda, a woman of captivating spirit and loyalty, had her heart firmly anchored in her family. Her husband, Tim, was not just her life partner of over 52 years, but also her best friend. The bond they shared was the stuff of love stories, steadfast and inspiring. Linda's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her universe, her most treasured people. Her love for them was palpable, a warm and comforting presence that will be eternally felt. Linda was never officially employed, but her work was all-encompassing, the labor of love that comes with being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. When she wasn't pouring her love into her family, Linda enjoyed camping and fishing, especially with Tim and the kids. She loved scouring for recipes and sharing them with friends on Facebook, and she cherished the times she spent canning with her mother.

Linda's life was a journey that took her from her birthplace in Denver to the Denver metro area with Tim, a brief stint at Indian Mountain, and back to Denver where they resided for 39 years. In 2021, they moved to Strasburg, Colorado, where they lived with Heidi and her husband, James. Throughout her journey, Linda faced many challenges, but she remained courageous and resilient, a fighter until the end. Her faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints anchored her and gave her strength. As written in the Book of Mormon, "And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them" (1 Nephi 3:7). This verse exemplifies Linda's unwavering faith and commitment to her family and her religion.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy Williams; her children, Heidi (James) Walker, Matthew (Adina) Williams, Aaron (Michelle) Williams, and Clint (Jessi) Williams; her grandchildren, Paige (Junior) Williams, Leanne Williams, Bailey Williams, Saidi Williams, Matthew Williams, Drew Williams, Ryann Williams, and Austin Kane; and her great-grandchildren, Greyson Cagle and Kaydin Kane. She is also survived by her sisters, Janice (Darrell) Hird, Becky Henderson, and Debbie Amann. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Amann and Ollie Riley.
