Levi Strauss passed away on August 16th 2024 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. He was cremated as per his request. His children will be privately scattering his ashes in Estes Park., Colo. at a later date.

Levi was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to George and Catherine Strauss on January 6th 1977.
He was raised in Gering, Nebraska where he attended school. He received a GED and went on to Auto Body Tech. School in Laramie, Wyo. Levi met and married Allison Hergert, settling in Severance, Colo. They began a family having 4 children. They later divorced and Levi moved back to Gering where he lived until his passing.

Survivors include; Landyn, Skyy, Lexi and Addy Strauss all of Colo., Mother Catherine Strauss of Gering, Ne., Brothers James (Becky) Strauss of Gering, Lester (Terri) Strauss of Arlington, Wa., Sister Tamaris (Steve) Hauser of Gering, Ne., Nieces/Special Sisters Cassy (Matt) Taylor of Yelm, Wa., Micky (Richard) Evans of Gering, Ne. Niece April Hernandez of Mitchell, Ne., Nephew Robbie Strauss of Gering, Ne. Niece Terian (Merlin) Olson of Meadview, Az., Nephew Jeffrey Strauss of Everette, Wa. numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers; a Memorial Fund has been set up in Levi's name at Platte Valley Bank all proceeds will go to Levi's minor children.

A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.
