Kiesha Marie Vargas, born on July 21, 2002, in McAllen, Texas, was known by her loved ones for her compassionate, loving, funny, and spirited nature. Kiesha, who moved from her birthplace to Aurora, Colorado, made her mark on everyone she met with her infectious laugh and boundless energy. She had a unique ability to light up any room she walked into and had a personality that was simply magnetic.
Kiesha had a deep love for God and lived her life with an unwavering faith. As it is written in the Scriptures, "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). She was a living testament to this verse, demonstrating her faith through her actions and how she treated others. Her hobbies, which included painting, sports, dancing, listening to music, and baking, were outlets for her vibrant spirit and creative mind. Above all, Kiesha's greatest joy was spending time with her daughter, Azalea, her family, and her friends.
After graduating from Gateway High School, Kiesha entered the professional world, dedicating three years to her work in inland degraded services. However, her heart was always with her family and friends. She prioritized loyalty, respect, and, most importantly, family. Kiesha's sense of humor and uplifting vibe were a source of comfort and joy to all those around her. Despite her young age, she was a pillar of strength and positivity for her loved ones.
Kiesha Marie Vargas is survived by her father, Peter Vargas; her mother, Marisol Betancourt; her daughter, Azalea Vargas; her sisters, Vanessa Deleon, Yvonne Deleon, and Jennifer Deleon; her brother, AJ Garza Jr; her nieces, Jaylin Rosell and Aleezeh Cantu; her nephew, J.J Rosell; her step-father, Estevan Jabiel; her brother-in-law, Cj Sanders; her cousins, Kayla Castillo, Luis Castillo, Andrew Castillo, Gilbert Betancourt, Harley Hernandez, Abel Hernandez, Joel Hernandez and Alexandra Deleon; and her aunt, Hortencia Hernandez; and her domestic partner, Maliq Alford. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Guadalupe Hernandez, her grandparents, Gilberto Betancourt, Antonia Vargas, and Victor Vargas.
