We lovingly remember the life of Karen Lynn Brier, a charismatic and compassionate soul who was born on March 16, 1971, in Colorado Springs, CO, USA. Her life was a radiant beacon of love, joy, and determination that inspired all who were fortunate enough to know her. Karen had an amazing energy that drew people towards her like moths to a flame. Her infectious smile, fabulous sense of humor, and great laugh were the hallmarks of her vibrant personality. She was a loving, supportive, and free-spirited woman whose life was a testament to the power of resilience and the strength of the human spirit.

Karen lived her life passionately, nurturing her love for physical fitness and well-being by engaging in activities such as running, exercising, and yoga. Her dedication and devotion to these pursuits was nothing short of inspiring. Karen was an all-around state champion in gymnastics, an achievement that showcased her remarkable talent and sheer determination. She lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Kansas City, Missouri while attending Rockhurst University, before finally settling in Aurora, Colorado. However, it was never about the places she lived in, but the lives she touched and the love she spread that truly defined Karen. As Audrey Hepburn once said, "As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others." Karen embodied this quote, living a life of selfless service and love for those around her.

What mattered most to Karen were her two sons, Tristan and Samm Lewis. Her love for them was profound and unwavering, a testament to the depth of her motherly affection. She is survived by her mother, Maxine Brier; her sister, Michelle Brier; her brother, Steven Brier; and her two sons, Tristan Lewis and Samm Lewis. She was preceded in death by her father, Searl Brier. Karen's legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all those she loved and inspired throughout her lifetime.
