It is with love and admiration that we celebrate the life of Jordyn Bryanna Nycole Alexander, affectionately known as Jay, who was born on January 15, 1995, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and resided in Aurora, Colorado. It's been said that "some people make the world special just by being in it," and Jordyn was undoubtedly one of those people. Her life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and joy. Jordyn's bright, vibrant spirit uplifted everyone who knew her.
In the words of Maya Angelou, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." This quote embodied Jordyn's approach to life. She was not just content with living; she thrived, adding love, humor, and style to everything she did. Jordyn had an unwavering devotion to her family and friends, and what mattered most to her were her children. She had an innate ability to make the simplest moments special, leaving a lasting mark on everyone she met.
Jordan is survived by her loving parents, Audja Jones and Courtney Alexander, grandmother Brenda Jones, her children Aalani and Amyus Alexander, her caring uncles and aunts Darcon Jones, Danielle Jones, Aviance Jordan, Nyriece Oliver, and Arlene Jones. These, along with her countless family, and friends, will miss her dearly, but will continue to celebrate her life and cherish the memories they shared with her. Her spirit will live on through their stories, their laughter, and their love.
