Obituary

It is with profound respect and deep love that we celebrate the life of Jeffrey Greenway, a man whose life was a testament to the virtues of generosity, humility, and unwavering loyalty. Born on February 22, 1964, in Conroe, Texas, Jeffrey crafted his life into a beautiful canvas of courage, resilience, and unyielding love for his family, friends, and the great outdoors. As Mark Twain once said, "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." Jeffrey found his purpose early, and it was rooted in his love for his family, his passion for his work, and his profound respect for nature.

Jeffrey, also fondly known as Jeff, was not just a loving husband to Sandie Greenway, whom he married on August 25, 2001, but also a caring son to Robert and the late Lynn Greenway, and an affectionate brother to Amy Madonna, Gary Greenway, and Nicole Schwenk. He was a beloved uncle to Scott and Ashley. His thoughtful nature and generous spirit were a beacon of hope and joy in the lives of those around him. After moving to Clark, Colorado at the tender age of 19, Jeff discovered his passion for electrical work, which led him to start his own business. His humble beginnings and exceptional work ethic were a testament to his indomitable spirit. His passion for the outdoors was equally captivating. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying a drink by the campfire with friends, Jeffrey was most at peace in the embrace of nature.

In 2004, Jeffrey faced an uphill battle with his health, leading to a double lung transplant in 2018. Despite the trials and tribulations, he kept his humor and faith intact. He was a beacon of strength and determination, leaving a lasting impression on his doctors at St Joseph's Hospital in Arizona. As Helen Keller said, "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Jeffrey's life was a living testament to this quote.

The world is a little less bright without Jeffrey, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to know him. We invite you to share your memories of Jeffrey or upload photos to the memorial page as a celebration of his life. His life was one of love, courage, and unwavering strength, and his memory will continue to inspire us all.
