--On July 31, 2026, Jazmyn Massey left this world at the age of 28, carried gently into peace after a month of profound struggle and extraordinary strength. Her passing followed a tragic accident on June 23, but her spirit — bright, stubborn, loving, and deeply alive — remained present until her final moments.
Jazmyn was a devoted mother to her three beautiful children: Tamryn (11), Desire (9), and MJ (8). They were the heartbeat of her life. She loved them with unmistakable tenderness, and she fought as long as she could to stay with them. Her love for them continues, unchanged, in every memory and every part of their lives she shaped.
As the second youngest sibling, Jazmyn carried an old soul — intuitive, protective, and full of depth. She had a way of connecting with people that felt immediate and real. Her laughter, her honesty, and her fierce loyalty made her unforgettable. She lived with a fire in her spirit, loving boldly and standing firmly for the people she cherished.
Though her time here was shorter than anyone hoped, Jazmyn’s life was meaningful. She taught those around her about courage, about speaking truth, and about loving without hesitation. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now free from pain and reunited in Heaven with her mother Tammy, her uncle Shane, her half‑brother Anthony, her grandmother Pam, her sister Jezzika, and multiple close friends who went before her. The image of her being held by them brings a measure of peace to those who miss her so deeply.
Jazmyn is survived by her children — Tamryn, Desire, and MJ — her sisters Mariah and Miranda, younger brother Moe, older brother Dawan, half-sister Devotion, sister Jozlyn, her father Will, and her extended family and friends, all of whom will continue to honor her by living with the same authenticity and heart she embodied. On Friday at 12 p.m., her loved ones will gather to say their final goodbye — a moment of both heartbreak and gratitude for the gift of her life.
