Irene Kriege passed away peacefully in the night on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at her home in Denver, CO. Much loved by those who knew her, she joins her beloved husband Richard Kriege, Father Jack Collins, brother Jay Collins, and other friends and family who have left us too soon. She is survived by her daughter Hallie Grable (Jeremy); cherished grand-daughter Vivien Grable; Mother Carol Hart (Donald); sisters Suzy Noecker, Debbie Blake, Karen Chesser, and Laura Schaffner; brothers David Collins and Greg Collins; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends who miss her dearly. We will always remember her wittiness, particularly when giving advice, and those impeccably timed remarks. Please lift a glass of your favorite spirit and smoke 'em if you got 'em – She always loved a good party!
A viewing will be held at 10:00am, with memorial services to follow at 11:00am, on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home – 1678 E. Iliff Ave. Aurora, CO 80013. Following the services, there will be a reception and picnic at Highland Hollows Park, in Aurora, CO.
