Obituary

Geoffrey Alexander Arwood, a cherished father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, departed from this world at the age of 54 on March 30th in Denver, Colorado. His departure has left behind a lasting legacy of love and treasured memories. Geoff's presence touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his loving parents, George and Linda Arwood, his sons Alexander John and Anex Leid Arwood, his sister Heather Field (nee Arwood) and her husband Tom Field, his nieces Grace and Ella Field, his nephew Patrick Field, and his son's supportive mother, Shannon Arwood Dionese and her husband Carl Dionese.

Geoff was born to George and Linda Arwood on January 21, 1970, in Bryn Mawr, PA. He spent his formative years in his beloved hometown of Medford Lakes, N.J., where he graduated from Shawnee High School. Geoff then pursued his bachelor's degree by attending High Point University in North Carolina where he majored in communications and actively participated in theater. Following his graduation, he embarked on a journey to Miami, Florida, where he found his niche in the hospitality industry. Later, he made his way to Colorado Springs, CO., where he met and married Shannon. Together, they were blessed with two adored sons, Alex and Anex.

Geoff's extended family, including his aunt Barbara Joan Laurie, Uncle Nate Laurie, and numerous cousins, will deeply feel his absence. His kindness, sense of humor, love for music, Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles, movies, books, and unwavering love for his family will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him, even if it was just for a short while.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to The Dumb Friends League at https://www.ddfl.org . A celebration of his life in his hometown will be announced at a later date.

May Geoff's memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who mourn his loss.
