The sunrise on the life of Freddie Al Lightsey Jr. began on December 1, 1991, born to his loving mother Cassandra Skaggs and father Freddie Al Lightsey Sr. (“Hollywood”). As the firstborn son, Freddie brought warmth, laughter, and love into the hearts of his family from the very beginning.

Freddie proudly embraced his role as the oldest brother to Brandon, Charles, and Chauncey. He carried that responsibility with pride and love, surrounded not only by his brothers but by a large circle of cousins who were raised alongside him more like siblings than relatives. Family meant everything to Freddie.

Known by many names — “Little Freddie,” “Mr. Fredums,” “Hollywood Jr.,” “Alfredo the Loc,” and “Alfredo Tha Mobsta” — the title he cherished most was “Daddy.” Freddie was a devoted and loving father to his daughters, Lyla and Ava, proudly embracing his role as a true girl dad. His love for his girls was endless, and he showed them constant affection, protection, and support.

Freddie was truly the life of the party. Known for his sharp wit, hilarious roasting, and creative wordplay, he could make anyone laugh and light up any room he entered. To know Freddie was to love him. His presence brought smiles, energy, and unforgettable memories to everyone around him.

A creative spirit at heart, Freddie had a deep passion for music and self-expression. He had a remarkable ear for beats, loved freestyle rap, and proudly represented the Mile High City, often coining and repeating the phrase “City of the Snow.”

His creativity extended beyond music into fashion, where he dreamed up clothing designs and ideas for his own line.

Freddie’s talents were many. As a skilled meat cutter, he knew every quality cut and took pride in his work. He carried the same creativity into the kitchen, where his cooking reflected his passion, care, and artistic nature.

Whether through music, food, fashion, or laughter, Freddie left his mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

The sunset on Freddie’s bright and unforgettable life came on May 7, 2026, but the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.Freddie was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Al Lightsey Sr.; his grandparents Charles Beavers, Eddie Lightsey, and Sandra K. Andrew’s his Aunt Yolonda Andrew’s; and his Uncle Milton Townsend.
