It is with a warm, loving heart that I, Eunnice Faye Davis, bid you all my earthly farewell. Born on the 2nd of August, 1946, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, I have been blessed to live a life filled with love, faith, and abundance. I am writing this from the perspective of heaven, having left my earthly body on the 4th of December, 2024.
I was a dedicated wife to my beloved husband, Bill Davis, for a glorious 61 years. Together, we lovingly raised our six children: Stephanie, Kenya, Billy, Shanika, Joseph, and Jacob. I was also a generous grandmother to Ladeana, Isaac, Abraham, Elijah, and Alex JR, and a doting great-grandmother to Jayce, Amaya, Juliana, Carlo, Aurora, and Nefertiti. My siblings, Mattie, Ernestine, John Matt, and David were always my pillars of strength and love. I am preceded in death by my parents, Ernest and Adeana, my brothers, Thomas, Deana Ray, John, Ernest JR, my sister, Gertrude and my grand daughter LaNika Ruth .
My life was a testament as a devout Christian. My faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of my existence. I found joy in cooking, baking, planning special family vacations, travelling, shopping, and interior design. My career in healthcare as a CNA allowed me to extend my love and care beyond my family. My passion for studying the Bible and helping those in need was a reflection of my courageous spirit and commitment to my faith.
I lived in various places, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Roswell, New Mexico, and Killeen, Texas, before finally settling in Aurora, Colorado. Each place holds cherished memories and a piece of my heart.
My invitation to you is to remember me as a woman who lived a life centered on love and faith in Jesus Christ. I hope you remember not my passing, but the joy and love we shared. Let's rejoice in the life I lived, and the lives I touched. As I rest in the arms of Jesus Christ, I encourage you all to seek my Lord and Savior for yourselves. In remembering me, I hope you find comfort, love, and strength. Let my generous, courageous, loving, and dedicated spirit continue to inspire and guide you. I shall hear these words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord.
