Eric was born on September 29 th , 1974, in Denver, Colorado to his parents Pamela Jean Lewis and James Chapman. Eric was the oldest of his two brothers. He practically raised them and spent time with them often. When his wife, Angela, first met Eric, she actually thought his youngest brother was his son. She still laughs about that. He attended Montbello High School and it was in high school that he met
the love of his life Angela Walker. Eric and Angela married on March 6th 1995, and to this union were born three sons: Eric Lewis Jr., Dante Lewis,and Tyson Lewis. Eric worked in the collections and customer service fields for several years. He definitely had the personality for it. Angela remembers telling
him several times that he is the type of person that she would just hang up on.He was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan, and you would find him parked front and center of a television every time they played. He enjoyed cooking, golfing, creating, and listening to music. He also liked to prank and scare people which is why Halloween was his favorite holiday. Eric loved dogs and often spoke of the all the dogs he owned during his childhood, and how his mother stayed on his case about taking care of them. He was a loving, family centered father who found joy attending his sons football games and fishing. It was a source of great pride to share his joy of fishing, while teaching them. By far, his children were his greatest accomplishments, and he truly loved them more than life. Suddenly and unexpectedly, Eric departed this life on October 5 th , 2023.He is preceded in death by his parents Pamela Lewis and James Chapman. He leaves to cherish his memory Angela Lewis, his loyal and devoted wife of 28 years, three sons: Eric Lewis Jr., Dante Lewis, and Tyson Lewis; two brothers Mark Lewis and Jeremy Lewis (Devine), and
host of aunts, cousins other relatives.
