With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our cherished Sonny whose love and warmth touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Sonny, our beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend transitioned peacefully from this world on February 15th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Sonny was not only a loving spouse but also a cherished confidant and best friend to his beloved wife Linda or Negra as he would often call her. Though he may be gone from Linda's sight, the bond he shared with her and the memories they created together will remain eternally cherished.

Born on October 22nd, 1949, in New Mexico, Sonny became part of our family after experiencing many hardships in life. He quickly became a cherished father figure to his beloved bonus children. His unwavering devotion to his family was evident in every action and word. As our bonus dad, he was a source of endless support and encouragement. His guidance and wisdom served as a compass, guiding his children through life's challenges and triumphs.

Sonny had a special gift for making every moment memorable. Whether it was through his sense of humor, his comforting encouragement, or his heartwarming stories, he had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved. His presence brought joy and comfort to our family. His gentle spirit and genuine interest in others made spending time with him truly special.

As a grandpa, Sonny found pure joy in the laughter and happiness of his grandchildren. Anabell, Tristan, Amani, Abby, and Gio shared a special bond with Grandpa Sonny and they were his pride and joy. He was their biggest cheerleader, always ready with a hug, a smile and a piece of candy to brighten their day. His love knew no bounds, and his grandchildren will forever cherish the moments spent in his company, learning from his wisdom and experiencing his unconditional love.

Beyond his role as a devoted family man, Sonny was admired and respected by all who knew him. His integrity, compassion, and generosity touched the lives of countless individuals. Whether lending a helping hand or offering words of encouragement he embodied the true essence of kindness and empathy.
