It is with mixed emotions of sorrow and celebration that we share the passing of Deborah Lynn Miller, lovingly known as Debbie, who departed this life on January 8, 2026. Born on March 6, 1971, in Junction City, KS, Debbie was a spirited soul whose life was marked by creativity, love, and laughter. With her infectious humor and quick wit, she had a unique ability to transform ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. Throughout her earthly journey, Debbie embodied the verse from Proverbs 31:25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."
Debbie was a master of her craft in the kitchen, cheerfully donning the title of "Chief Deborah." Her love for cooking was only surpassed by her passion for arts and crafts, a hobby that allowed her creativity to truly shine. Beyond these talents, Debbie was also an accomplished athlete with numerous achievements in track and field. A resident of Aurora, Colorado, she had previously lived in her hometown, Junction City, Kansas, which always held a special place in her heart. Despite her many accolades and achievements, what mattered most to Debbie was her family, especially her beloved children.
Debbie leaves behind a rich legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her children, Donta Miller and Denitra Miller; her grandchildren, Tiona Stowe, Travion Carter, Jahmai Carter, Coby Hayes, and Alyson Miller; and her siblings, Stephanie Theus, Sheryl Santa Cruz, Clifford McCullough, Karen McCullough, and Karla McCullough. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Gwendolyn McCullough. Deborah's life was a living testament of the verse in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
