Mr. Dave Husband, 77, of San Augustine County passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in Denver,CO.
Dave was born October 28, 1946, in San Augustine County to parents Neal and Hyburnia (Wade) Husband. He was a lifelong resident of the San Augustine area. He had been a business owner in San Augustine for 25 years and was a farmer/rancher. Dave was a community supporter, helping with many organizations and activities. He was a member of Go Texan and an avid supporter of San Augustine County's youth livestock show, often purchasing many projects and animals in the sale.
His survivors include his son, David Neil Husband and fiance Cindy Hogan of San Augustine; daughter, Sheila Husband Sanders of Diboll; grandchildren, Jeremy Husband and wife Alana, Whitney Allen and husband Robby, Wesley Husband, David A. Fussell and wife Talina, and Draylon Fussell and wife Kathryn; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Avery, Delaney, Darcy, Zoe, Oaklee, Kayden, David M., Peyton, Braydon, and Brielle; and a very special friend, Becky Walson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Hyburnia Husband; and brothers, Dan Husband, Buck Husband, and John Husband.
