Obituary

On August 24, 1953, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Craig Allen Jenkins was born to Clark Gable Jenkins and Wilma Faye Easter, who both preceded him in death.
Craig was affectionately known by many as "DOC" (Dead On the Case) and "Tip the Mover," nicknames that reflected his confidence, charisma, and unforgettable presence. After moving to Colorado, he became a basketball coach in the Globeville area. A star basketball player in his own right, Craig carried his passion for the game into mentoring and coaching young athletes.
He met Annette Hall, and from their union were born his beloved daughters, twins Yolanda Bennett and Wanda Hall, and LaTasha Hall, whom he loved as his own. Craig cherished his role as a father. He expressed his love not only through encouragement and laughter, but also through steady guidance and tough love — instilling strength, responsibility, and resilience in his children.
A hardworking and determined man, Craig built a strong reputation in the moving industry, earning the nickname "Tip the Mover." He was known for his remarkable strength and work ethic. He could carry a washing machine on his back using a single hump strap — a testament to both his physical strength and dedication to his craft.
Above all, Craig loved his family. He cherished the road trips he and Wanda took to Omaha to visit his sisters and brother, knowing their time together with family and friends would be filled with laughter and celebration.
The Lord called Craig home on February 10, 2026.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Yolanda Bennett (Belleville, IL), Wanda Hall (Aurora, CO), and LaTasha Hall (Aurora, CO); his siblings: Patricia Jackson, Teresa Talbert, Michele Johnson (Omaha, NE), Michael Johnson (Charlotte, NC), Pamela Easter-Witcher (Corpus Christi, TX), Jimmy Blackmon, Kenneth Jenkins, Cynthia Jenkins (Omaha, NE), and Anthony Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Jenkins.
He also leaves behind three grandchildren — Theophilus Walker Jr. (Aurora, CO), Marcus Porter II (Belleville, IL), and Stephanie Johnston (Aurora, CO); great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; his close friend Constance Marker; and many others who were touched by his love, guidance, and unwavering support.
