Clarence Drake, affectionately known to family, friends, and everyone who loved him as "Drake," was born on November 4, 1935, in Blythedale, Pennsylvania. On June 23, 2026, Clarence answered God's call and peacefully completed his earthly journey.

Clarence was a proud man of strength, character, and integrity. For many years, he called Aurora, Colorado, home, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, service, and helping others. He was the kind of man you could count on - dependable, loyal, and always willing to lend a hand. His presence spoke volumes, and the way he carried himself showed the importance of respect, kindness, and doing what was right.

Clarence dedicated much of his life to serving others. He proudly served in the military and later continued his commitment to his country and community through 48 years of government service with the United States Postal Service. He was honored for his service during the 50th Anniversary Commemoration of the Vietnam War, a recognition that reflected the dedication and sacrifice he carried throughout his life. After retiring from government service, Clarence wasn't done working — he continued serving others for 19 years with Frontier Airlines before officially retiring at the age of 79.

Beyond his career, Clarence was a man who knew how to enjoy life. He was an active member of TREA and participated in golf tournaments, always finding time to enjoy the things that brought him happiness. He loved golf, softball, bowling, and a good card game with friends and family. His love for sports started when he was young, playing football and baseball during his high school years, and those memories stayed with him throughout his life.

To know Clarence was to know a man who loved his family deeply. His children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends meant everything to him. He was a devoted father who worked hard to provide, guide, and support his family. He was known for his wisdom, his stories, his sense of humor, and the way he always made people feel welcome. The lessons he taught and the love he shared will continue to live on through generations.

"Pumpkin" ,Austin (Skye), De'Anna (David), William, Beverly, Rodney, and Nina; his loving sister Janice; along with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends who were blessed to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Drake and Mabel Drake; his siblings Elmer "Charlie Brown," Otis, Jack, Alma Jean, Fayley, and Beverly; and his children Joseph, Irene, Alicia, and Dantae.

Clarence Drake lived a life of purpose, service, and love. He was a man who stood tall, worked hard, loved deeply, and left an impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. His memories, his laughter, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

Though he has gained his heavenly wings, the love he gave and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
