With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Charlie "Chuck" Martinez on November 12, 2023. Born in Houston, TX on June 17, 1983, Charlie was a compassionate soul with a resilient spirit, known for his infectious laughter and his love for life. He had a knack for making people feel special, always putting others before himself. His zest for life and his ability to bring joy to those around him will always be remembered.
Charlie was a loving son, brother, and father. His family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with friends, always the life of the party with his funny anecdotes and outgoing personality. Although not deeply religious, Charlie embodied the Catholic virtue of charity, always generous with his time and energy. As stated in the Book of Proverbs 19:17, "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed," Charlie was a living testament to this truth.
Charlie is survived by his children, Briella and Noah Martinez; his father, Rosalio Martinez; his siblings, Nicole (Cesar) Martinez, Cynthia (Eric) Boss, Frank (Stephanie) Martinez, and Richard Sandoval; nieces and nephews, Leo and Justin Boss, A'Lexya Boss, Isylee and Ashley Martinez, Ruben and Arthur Estrada; great-nieces, Faith, Tess, Jazzy, and Vanessa Shoels; and brothers-in-law, Eric (Cynthia) Torres and Cesar (Nicole) Renteria. He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Martinez; sister, Melinda Sandoval; nephews, Edward Morales and Nicholas Martinez; and grandparents, Esther and Leonardo Sandoval.
Charlie's life was a testament to resilience and love, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. We invite you to share your fond memories, stories, and photographs of Charlie on his memorial page, as we celebrate the life of this extraordinary man who brought joy, happiness, and laughter to all who knew him.
