Charles "Chaz" Stanley Jr., 37 of Aurora, Colorado, passed away December 28, 2025, at his home.

Chaz was born on March 16, 1988, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Charles Stanley Sr. and Glenda Stanley (Samuels).  Chaz lived a life marked by kindness, love, and humor. He had a deep appreciation for hockey, gaming, scary movies, creative arts, and recently took up cooking. He was known for his unconditional love for his daughter, a superhero of friendships and understanding when a room needed a pivotal vibe. Chaz always operated from the purest form of love.

Those who knew Chaz will remember his bright laughter, his sense of style, and giving the best hugs. He had a way of bringing comfort and laughter to many. His heart was so pure, and it showed in every action he took.

Chaz is survived by his wife Shannell Lord, his daughter Selina Stanley, his mother Glenda Samuels, and stepfather Timothy Samuels. Aunties Sherri Hoover and Margaret Beaumont, his special friend Anna Perry, the Stanley family in Cincinnati, Ohio, and his incredibly special Samuels family in Colorado Springs, who will carry forward his stories and spirit. Chaz was preceded in death by his Father Charles Stanley Sr., Grandmother Anne Stone, Aunt Patty Guyton, and his loving dogs, Nala and Zeus. Chaz will forever be part of the stories we tell and the lives we lead.
