It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved mother and grandmother, Carol Roberts. Carol passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024 at the age of 72 surrounded by her children and grandchildren and a mountain of love and adoration.

Carol was born on October 25, 1951 in Lamar, CO to Robert Ballou and Margaret Molyneux. Carol grew up in Swink, CO in the house her father built. She shared many fond memories of adventuring with her friends and siblings including taking camping trips to the mountains and riding tote gotes.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed gardening, painting, and being with family and friends. She loved animals (except the squirrels in her garden). She enjoyed a trip to the local brewery as much as anyone and was never one to turn down good Mexican food.

Carol held many jobs over the years. She had a tremendous work ethic and was proud of all of them. However, her true passion was being the best mom and (great-)granny that she could be. She was always there with a helping hand, an ear to bend, or a shoulder to cry on. Her guidance and compassion will be missed more than words can say.

She is predeceased by her parents and brother Ronnie.

Those left to celebrate her life and memory include her three children; Terri Roberts (Danette) of Fountain, CO, Mark Roberts of Colorado Springs, CO, Brian Roberts (Amber) of Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren, Samantha Villarreal (Adan) of Pueblo, CO, Nichole Dye of Fountain, CO, Ashley Hasty of Canon City, CO, Amanda Jones (Darren) of Canon City, CO; great-grandchildren, Ollie and Ben; as well as her sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
