On May 30, 1958. God blessed the world with Byron Alex Jackson he was born to happy parents, Marvin and Joan Jackson. Marvin was a happy camper when that son was born. He was a mischievous child growing up gave his parents and challenges as boys do. He attended Cure d'Ars, Catholic school in his early years and he went on to attend George Washington High School, where he graduated Byron in 1976. Byron chose to serve his country at the age of 19 by joining the United States Army. He served in the United States and abroad.
After the military, Byron teamed up with his father to learn various trades. Truck driving to be the one Marvin remembers the most. Marvin spoke about a time when he was training Byron on the semi truck when they encountered a snow storm while Marvin was sleep when he woke Byron was in the truck like a pro. Byron went on to find his niche in the service industries working at the Denver Athletic Club, working at Red Lobster, Goodwill and other service related jobs.
Byron leaves behind loving parents. and three children. Sons Damien, Marcus, and daughter, Kayla. Byron will be greatly missed by several Aunts, cousins and friends.
One thing we can take comfort in is that Byron believed in God. He spoke with his cousin Cecelia about how he wanted to attend church and have a better relationship with God. We pray that he is now developing that relationship God the Father.
