Brian Bernard Blackwell was born in Lubbock Texas on October 1st 1962, and passed away on February 20th 2026 at the age of 63. Brian relocated with his dad, mother, and siblings from Texas to Kansas then Denver where he lived majority of his life.

Brian was a giver, fearless, loving, and a generous man. He was willing to give what he could. He gave time, energy, and kind words. Brian was business minded, he single handed managed KFC when he was in his teens.

Brian's pass time was singing, dancing, and working on cars and homes. Brian liked taking trips to the mountains and other parts of the world.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother Lorine Blackwell, and father Moses Blackwell.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory has 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Eddie Blackwell, Billy Blackwell, Elmoses Blackwell, Lisa Robinson, Linda Blackwell, Carol Blackwell, Sandra Blackwell, and Dawn Ponder as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who all loved him dearly.

Brian you will be missed dearly! Although we want you back, we know that you are in a resting place. We find comfort in knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord.
