Obituary

Beverly Denise Wesley was born on February, 25, 1957, in Oak Grove Louisiana, to Walter Wesley and Shirley Gaddis. She was the third born, along with sisters, Vivian Smith and Chinna Wilson.
As a child she would, sometimes get into trouble, being mischievous. She found comfort in her older sisters (Vivian's) stories, that she would tell her when she was sad. She would enjoy going downtown to shop at the 16th Street Mall. Beverly had a vivid imagination and loved going outside to play with the neighborhood kids.

A childhood memory is when she received an Ez Back Oven, that her and her sisters used every day. Once they ran out of packets, they figured out how to make cakes from scratch, using the Ez Bake Oven. While in college she tricked her sisters into going to see a scary movie, The Exorcist.
She attended Denver Public Schools, Smith Elementary, Hill Junior High School and George Washington High School. She completed her education at Colorado State University, studying Communications.

She met her life partner Archie Taylor, in June of 1981 at the Omni Night Club on Colfax. To this union was a baby girl Shannon Taylor. She loved and enjoyed her family, always showing care and compassion for them. They are a close net family and was always available to talk. She loved to laugh and try new things. She was strong willed with a heart of gold "She Loved". She was a hard worker, but loved even harder.

Also, known as "Mimi" she had one grandchild, Krislyn Cazenave. Krislyn, will always remember playing board and card games with her Mimi, ordering candy, cookies and other treats through QVC. Helping her with household chores, when she was not able. They enjoyed each other's company, never having a dull moment.

Beverly worked for the South Denver Postal Station. Her coworkers remember her as being funny, dependable and a hard worker. She would periodically fellowship at Heritage Christian Center. In her free time she enjoyed Bingo, Saturday night card games, socializing with her friends, going out to eat, going to the movies and playing soft ball. Her closest friends were Cathy Dean, Candy Kniss, Tina Brewer, Bill, Michael, Rasheed, Betty and Faye. She will be remember by her friends for her smile, compassion, loving spirit and her cooking! Especially her green chili, gumbo and burritos. Her daughters brother Karon Taylor, has memories of going on bike rides, her teaching him how to cook, going to the movies and theme parks.

She is preceded in death by her father Walter Wesley, grandparents five uncles and four aunts.
