Benjamin (Ben) Louis Johnson
Ben was born in Craig CO on May 8,1978 to Walter and Twilla Johnson (Wilson). Ben grew up and graduated from Hayden High school- class of1996. Ben's favorite time in High School was fishing with his friends whenever they could. Ben has lived in Hayden, Craig, Rifle, Grand Junction and Bennett Colorado. Ben worked different jobs outside of school, then he found that he was suited for construction with heavy equipment. Ben worked for 27 years from starting as a laborer to finishing off as a Superintendent in his many years in construction.
Ben's favorite place to hunt was on the Uncompahgre, Ben had a knack for that place. In 2006 Ben placed 32nd in the State of Colorado with a buck in velvet that he had shot there. Ben also loved to fish; it really never mattered to him where it was (he just never listened to what color to use).
Ben and Stacy were married on April 11, 2016, they moved to Bennett CO shortly after, where the kids were also enrolled in school and excelled.
Ben is survived by his wife Stacy of 6 years, his 3 children Michael Johnson of Grand Junction, Johnathan Johnson of Bennett, and his daughter Haily of Grand Junction., two stepchildren Samantha (DeLuca) Scott (Bryson)and Nick DeLuca II. His mother Twilla Johnson of Rifle, his sister Terri (Jason) Glidewell of Rifle, two nieces Midge and Anna Glidewell of Rifle, with many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Ben was preceded in death by his father Walter Johnson, his Grandparents Ben and Lenora Johnson and Bud and Irene Wilson.
