Annelise "Annie" Nugent, of Frederick, Colorado, passed away peacefully at the hospital surrounded by her family. Days before her passing, doctors discovered she had an aggressive cancer. Annie was the youngest of four children born in Estes Park to the late Harv Neely and Julia Priest, who now lives in Alabama with her husband, Claude.
Annie shared her home and her heart with her husband, Jesse Bosley, and their beloved 6‑year‑old son, Orion Elliott Bosley — the light of her life.
Annie completed her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and went on to complete a Master's in Social Work from Regis University. Her calling was always children. Whether through her career supporting young people and their families, or in the way she lit up around her nieces, nephews, and the kids of friends, Annie's compassion and joy left a lasting imprint wherever she went. Annie will be remembered for her laughter and her playful sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse, and their son, Orion; her mom, Julia, and step-father Claude; her siblings Mike Neely, Amarie (Chris) Whetten, and Steve (Kelda) Neely; and six nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Annie's Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Hyde Chapel, YMCA of the Rockies, near Estes Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the GoFundMe site dedicated to helping Jesse and Orion.
