Celebration of Life for Alisha Renee Macon

Today, we gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Alisha Renee Macon—a deeply compassionate, loyal, and loving woman whose presence brought light, laughter, and love to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Born on September 6, 1985, in Aurora, Colorado, Alisha lived her life with a generous heart, an infectious smile, and an unwavering devotion to family and friends.

Alisha was the kind woman who valued her quiet moments but never hesitated to share her warmth and love with those around her. She could be the life of the party at one moment or find comfort in just relaxing at home and watching movies. She believed in making the most of every moment, a belief perfectly captured by her favorite saying, "YOLO" (You Only Live Once).

For Alisha, these were not just words—they were a reminder to live boldly, love deeply, and appreciate the gift of each day.

Alisha was a devoted daughter to her parents, Ora J. Macon and James Brewer, who preceded her in death, and a loving sister to LaTonya Green. She was the glue that held her family together, a rock to her friends of more than 30 years, and a mentor to younger family members . In her journey to become a Sterile Processing Technician, she showed us all the meaning of dedication, resilience, and the power of a dream.

Her friends will forever remember her for always singing, arriving fashionably late to gatherings, and insisting she had nothing to wear before nearly every event. She had a way of turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories, including the time she famously lost her wig at a water park—a story that never failed to bring laughter. Her sense of humor, infectious personality, and ability to find joy in life's imperfections made her truly one of a kind.

As we remember Alisha today, let us celebrate not only her accomplishments but also the love she freely shared, the friendships she cherished, and the countless lives she touched. Though her time with us was far too short, her legacy of loyalty, compassion, joy and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
