January 16, 1977 - October 18, 2021
Quinton Renee McClure-Lewis was born on January 16, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, to his parents, Linda McClure and Alfred Lewis. As a young child, Quinton and his mother relocated to Denver, Colorado. He was the firstborn in his family with brothers, Charles, Ephraim, and Corey, and godbrother, Corey Boyd. Growing up, Quinton’s mother, Linda, and brother, Charles remember how Quinton would look forward to eating corndogs and watching the Dukes of Hazard every Friday night. After the family relocated to Denver, CO, Quinton, lovingly called, “Que” spent his summers, as a child, visiting his grandmother and extended family in Memphis. Que grew up in a close-knit family, always keeping in touch with each other on a regular basis. The brothers would often come together to attend church, share music, food, and other fun activities. Que received his formal education in the Denver Public School District. He attended Gospel Hall Head Start, Barrett Elementary, Barney Ford Elementary, Martin Luther King Middle School, and Montbello High School. He continued to follow his passion and earned his General Education Diploma at Emily Griffith Opportunity School and then enrolled in Auto Body/Mechanic classes. Que was the proud father of Darrius McClure. They shared a bond that could not be broken. They shared many memories and loved the time they shared. By profession, Quinton worked for a short period of time for Dollar Rent-A-Car as an Auto Detailer. He was remembered by his co-workers for his hard work, productivity, and being a great team player. From childhood, Quinton developed a love for the Lord. He was a member of the Now Faith Christian Center, under the leadership of Apostle Leon and Pastor Yvonne Emerson. He was also a Rapper from 1996 – 2021 for the MNLD Group. In his free time, Que loved spending time with his family and friends, making them laugh. His closest friends, Corey Boyd, Mike T., Jean Parham, and Adam Duncan will always remember Que for his great sense of humor, his kind ways, and his desire to help those who were less fortunate than he was.
