Mr. Kion Lamenta Perkins

Kion Lamenta Perkins, 33, of Denver, CO, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Kion was born on November 14, 1988, in Decatur, IL, the son of Jeremiah Perkins and Sharon Smith.

Kion loved basketball and enjoyed playing video games.

Kion is survived by his three children: Kimora Leah-Marie Perkins of Denver, CO, and Lyann Cani Acker of Newark, TX; bonus child, Kavasia Layell-Marie Perkins of Denver, CO, parents: Jeremiah Perkins of Decatur, IL and Sharon Smith (husband Charles) of Decatur, IL; three brothers: Jeremiah Perkins, Jr. of Decatur, IL, Terrance Lavell Tyson of Decatur, IL, and Trayvon Denzel Perkins of Decatur, IL; and nieces: Alazia Tyson of Bloomington, IL and Zurri Navae Perkins of Decatur, IL.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one daughter, Kayonna London-Marie Perkins.
